Dependents of HSMP holder on Visit Visa!

Hope all are fine! I am on HSMP in the UK for the past 2 and a half months. I am on self employment having my own Limited company which I formed after I came to the UK. My question is, is it possible for my dependents to come here on a visit visa and switch their status to HSMP dependent once they a...

With all due respect to individual view points, I had applied using a printed form. I used PDF editor and printed it using a laserjet. My application went thru without any problem. FYI - I applied from Bangalore.

Hi Eskay, Many congrats! Since you didn't apply for your dependents, I have a few questions! What did you answer in Section 5.6 and 5.7? Did you maintain funds for the dependents as well when you applied for yourself? Is there any specific remark that you have mentioned in your cover letters regardi...

Hi,

Sorry about my misunderstanding. Nevertheless, the logic is pretty simple - no mismatch on the numbers and dont assume that the CW would call to get himself clarified of why the mismatch.

Cheers,
Maddy

In all probabilities the decision might go against you. The bank statements and the payslips must match exactly. Calling the employer is upto the case worker, even if he does he will only be interested that the payslips/letters are original. Its a huge risk. Would advice you to get a fresh payslip t...

Many Thanks Aksh, I would submit the marksheets of my MBA. But, the marksheet which my Uni gave me does not have any signature and stamp but on a Uni letter head - would it not be a problem sending this? I have a letter which the Uni normally gives for Tier I G applicants that states this guy studie...

Hi Aksh, Congratulations! I would be applying in Jan10 for my Tier I G. Is it really necessary to provide all your educational certificates with the application? Wouldn't it suffice if we only submit the Post Graduate certificate as mentioned in the guidance booklet? I have had a bitter experience s...

Hi, I guess you are in the same situation as mine. Please refer the following thread, hope it will be useful. As said by Sushil, i guess when applying for children we need to make sure all other circumstantial fund requirements which are not actually said in the guidance document to be taken care of...

However, would like to hear from experts on the notion that I have got. Requesting someone to throw some light on this ...

You still need to fillin your Spouse/parner details in Section 5.2 irrespective of what the answer you select in Section 5.1. But if your children under 18 Years of age are not accompanying you then you can leave the details blank pertaining to your children (such as age, etc).

Dependents Details & Visa stamping

Hi All, Hope all are doing fine! Would be applying for my Tier I in the near future. If I include my wife and children detail in the Section 5a of the VAF 9 and provide all documentary evidences as required by the guidance, would they get their visas too stamped along with mine? Do I need to pay for...

Hi, Two things, 1. You have to declare your wife/partner details and say if she/he is accompanying you now or in the next 12 months. If he/she is accompanying you now or in the next 12 months then you will have to show the maintenance funds for him/her too. 2. Kids, unless you plan to take your kids...

Apply with showing funds for myself and spouse and make clear statement on the kids not joining us in the first year as...

Hi Ramesh, Many thanks for your response. The problem here is "....planning to join you within 12 months...." its a very ambiguous clause. The case worker has an advantage saying (if i somehow or somewhere say directly or indirectly or through past applications (i was a student in UK) come...

Maintenance Funds Requirement - Updated

Hi, First of all, my heartiest appreciation to this forum - a nice job! I would be applying for the HSMP in Feb 2010. I read in the latest "Guidance Notes" and the home office FAQ that " Important! To qualify for Tier 1 (General) of the Points Based System you must be able to demonstr...
