Finally got approval today

Hi all,
today i finally got my approval letter, applied Mid of May 2012 base on marriage to an Irish, they have been telling me waiting for garda clearance whenever i email them. But to my surprise today i got a letter but no date yet.Thanks all

My friend got a letter yesterday from INIS asking for an Additional Documents after 12 months of his application,he applied based on marriage to Irish National. Did anyone else receive such letter? Im glad finally people arent complaining about the backlogs anymore. There is hardly a backlog now and citizenship applications are been prosessed faster than normal nowadays. Per prediction if Alan Shatter is still in office, in 2014 there will be no backlog at all and applications will be decided...

I think it all depend on when INIS send your application for Vetting. When they say your application have enter second stage does not mean they have sent it to Garda Vetting, can someone prove me wrong here? Very wrong. Even simply Garda vetting for employers that only requires criminal check takes...

I applied for naturalization last month just today received a letter asking me to forward payment and other documents for the naturalzation to be granted. Its sad to hear Irish spouses still waiting from 2011-2012 whereas people who applied for June 2012 have received their approval.

Minister Discretion

I think the Minister has the power to give whoever he want to give Irish citizenship regardless if you are on SOCIAL WELFARE, CRIMINAL RECORD or SHAM MARRIAGE.
