Anyone know what the average time it takes to stamp a Family Visit visa to the UK from Pakistan. We submitted a passport on Friday last (15th October 2010) and need to travel on December 17th 2010.

Gerrys Mirpur said it is 28 working days. Is that true.

A friend of mine submitted passport after call letter for family visit visa at Mirpur, Pakistan but got phone call now to collect from Lahore.

I think that might be right - 5 passports each Gerrys office, means 20-25 all together.

But, how do you know passports are sent to Islamabad from Dubai? I have heard that passports are sent direct from Dubai and not Islamabad.
