MAC is supposed to publish their review on Tier 1 and Tier 2 route on 20th September. After that it would become more clear as to what is going to happen. My own view is that MAC would recommend tighting earning criteria for existing Tier 1 holders whilist living Tier 2 mostly unchanged. It is very ...

Well, whichever rules are going to be in place starting from April 2011, people would be making their informed decision when judging on their potential prospects in the UK. No doubt, the system would become more stringent and more complicated in the same time. However, those applying at that time sh...

I believe you can do it yourself. Just put everything that you have written on this forum in a form of a cover letter, add some more arguments, article numbers and quotes. Then submit your admin review. From your post it follows that didn't breach any rules. Explain that clearly stating the dates of...

Re: Same Here

I firmly agree with you, its unjustice on behalf of the government and we should form a group and resolve this issue legally. We need to act fast. In the past immigrants were successful in getting jobs because they were better qualified and paid cheaper salaries than the local UK residents. So, whi...

Hello Guys, Just want to share my experience with you. I am on £32,000 with nearly 5+ years of professional exper...

When you said 'big bonuses', what figure did you mean? I also received a bonus in March of £5000 and claimed it as part of my earnings when applying for Tier 1 G. Does that mean i could be a subject for investigation too?

Look, you hired a solicitor to submit your case and paid money for that. Your solicitor had to exercise his skill and care to prepare all your docs in according to the HO requirements. You don't know the immigration rules in depth, that is why you hired an outside expertise to help you out on this m...

Call this people and ask them if you can stay legally in the UK during the judicial review process. http://www.uk-visa-appeal.co.uk/news/index.php/judicial-review-policy-change/ My own understanding is that it is not possible to stay in the UK during the judicial review, but your lawer can represent...

Your story sounds dreadful. I still cannot believe it has happened. What you can do now is: 1. Claim your money back from your lawer. This is because, firstly, he didn't prepare all the docs in according to the requirements of the HO, and secondly, because it was possible to interfere with their pos...

Have you got any self-employed income? Or your degree is not from the UK? If so, then you are likely to experience a delay. There is no way for you to check the progress of your application until after 14 weeks. But even then they won't tell you any information as to where the problem is, but rather...

Why did you submit your application if you knew you were £1 short on your maintenance? This is a definite 100% refusal. Sorry to say that, but i was short only by £32 for 2 days, and got refused. At the hearing i showed an additonal saving bank statement which covered for the difference. My appeal...

Sorry to hear about your refusal. If you have the right of appeal, then you can appeal this decision. All you have to do is to present your bank statements to the judge, which are that additional evidence that existed at the time of application, but was not presented before the HO. The letter from a...

How come the amount on your friend's payslips didn't correlate to the payments received in the bank statements? If your friend earned over £32,000 but it hasn't been paid over to him in full, then the HO was right in refusing his application. Otherwise, how on earth the HO can be sure that he has a...

Why do your clients feel angry? I don't understand. If they get 2 letters from the HO, it means they haven't replied to the first one and the HO has sent a folllow up letter. Also, there is nothing wrong in replying to someone's request, particularly from the authorities. Just try to convince your c...

If I were you, I would have asked your clients to respond. You can provide them with the copies of your invoices (in case they have lost them), and even offer a discount for future services if they reply promptly. It is in your best interests to get this issue sorted asap. So, don't hesitate, speak ...
