I sent my documents yesterday. Same scenario. Myself + Wife + Kid. I had the same set of documents. Only additional thing was, I had put them all in a file with many sections, numbered 1 to 10 and had a document map stuck to the top of the file as to what is in which section. Eg : Section 1 : Coveri...

In this case, only the last statement will be within a month as statements are received monthly.

In the guidance, HO have mentioned that ALL evidence should be within one month and hence my question.

Re: Tier 1 general extension queries - maintenance funds

Just wondering, Is it OK to provide monthly statements towards maintenance funds? The HO guidance states: For applications made either in the United Kingdom or overseas, all evidence must be dated no more than one month before the application is submitted. [/b] Does this not mean, we need a single s...

anusha_184 I think you have not got it correctly. The section on dependants on Page 4 reads, Any dependant applications that are submitted at the same time as the main applicant's form will incur a fee of £50 per dependant unless it is for a child aged 18 years or over. This to me means that for Ch...

The HO recommendation is that you need to apply at least 28 days before your current leave to remain expires. This guideline exists only to allow the applicant a chance to re apply before leave expires if the original one is turned down. There is no rule to say have to apply only within the last 28 ...

As far as I am aware, parents cannot get dependant visa, if you are in T1(G). They can get a visitor Visa and visit you for a max period of 6 months / stay. Please ask them to contact the nearest VFS in their home country. The VFS will give them the latest document requirements. Typically, this woul...

Thanks VKS. It is surely not a Mini Statement. It is printed on A4 size and has Barclays and Logo on the top. Just that it is not in color and it is like a computer printout.

I just wanted to check if anyone had submitted this in the past and got approvals.

I agree with Chetan.

I tried for three weeks to get an appointment but no luck. I am going to apply by post this week. My visa expires in Jan 2010.

For straight forward cases, I guess it is easier to send by post. As a bonus, it saves us £200 too.

Good luck to everyone

Barclays Statements Printed from the Self Service Kiosk

For the maintenance funds for HSMP to Tier 1 (G) extension, has anyone submitted the statements that you get from the self service kiosk in the Barclays branches? It actually depends on the area you live. I have found (in my personal experience and also that of my wife and friends) that a local instructor is often better / cheaper / more accomodating than the chains like BSM, Red etc. I suggest you check your local papers or gumtree etc, if it is relevant to ...

NKSG that is incorrect information. The clock does not start again if out of country time exceeds 90 days. I think only the Yes part in J4 directs to K1. My answer to J4 would be No. Hence I need to answer J5.

Will be helpful if someone who has filled this recently clarifies.

I have a doubt on question J5 of the Dependant application (Page 29). I am currently in HSMP and need to get Further leave to remain on Tier 1 General for myself and two dependants. When you apply for ILR, (as per the current rules) you can apply 28 days before your leave expires, so you should be fine.

In my opinion, though it is good to consider ILR on your initial travel, I would not worry too much as it would all depend on the immigration rules in Nov 2014.
