Re: Can I include my wife in my ILR, who is on independent T

As long as she satisfies the 2 year rule and have documents to prove your co habitation for two years, I do not see any issue. All the best. HI All, I am currently on Tier1 VISA and eligible to apply for ILR. My wife came to UK on her independent Tier1. We satisfy the requirement for last 2yrs of co...

You would need documents to prove that you co habited with yourself. :D :D :D

This does not apply to single applicants.

You need to pass Life in the UK Test though.

All the best.

Were any afternoon appointments cancelled because of IT problems and people turned away? I apply for my ILR Friday afternoon and dread being turned away empty handed. I am not too sure. I checked with the person who took the Biometric and he said there were no issues as of yesterday. I was also spe...

ILR Success Croydon SET(O) - 18th May

All, thanks to everyone who helped me, I got my ILR yesterday. WP -> HSMP -> Tier 1 (G). My WP period was only for six months. I wanted to write a detailed one, live from the venue and started a thread, but found that it had been deleted by some moderator without any explanation. So to make it short...

That is good news, especially if they stick to the dates.

My appointment is on the 18th May and it will be great if it is normal that day.

Fingers crossed.

ILR Eligibility and few questions on documentation : Help

Hi all, I have enjoyed this forum for almost 3 years. Keep up the good work all. My ILR is coming up in 2 weeks and I have a few questions. I started a on a 5 year work permit starting from Jan 2005 (valid until Jan 2010). The first two years (until 2007), I was not continous here and spent only 6 m...

Yes, you can skip ILR as mentioned above. The only thing you have to bear in mind is that, in case you need to travel to India (say for an emergency etc), you need to find someone here to leave the little one as obv he / she cannot travel without a passport. I may sound like a pessimist but have see...

One option is to send ILR application by post on Mon 30th April and pay by cheque. Usually, the 28 days will be checked only by the case worker and the case will be passed to the caseworker only after the payment is cleared. If you pay by cheque, it will take 3 to 5 days for clearning and by the tim...

Has anyone heard of IT issues / Biometric issues anywhere other than Croydon PEO?

Hi all, I am eligble for ILR appointment from the 14th May 2012. Mine is a straightforward case with WP + HSMP + Tier 1, absenses well within the limit and all the boxes ticked for points. ILR Query

Hi All, I guess mine is a straightforward case but I need some advise on one point. My case is HSMP 2 years + Tier 1(G) upon renewal for 3 years. I was in a permanent job from Jun 2007 until Dec 2011 and have started contracting (Ltd Company + Sole Director + 50% Share holder) since Jan 2012. As for...

It is still 1 Year subject to other conditions (not out for than 90 days in that year, no criminal convictions etc).

No, they can get it after 1 Jan 2011.

Contact UKBA at the earliest. Make it clear to them that you have not received any reference number even after 50 days and you're calling to know the reference number and to know if your application is in the UKBA system. Without the reference number you'll have a hard time tracking your applicatio...

J4 is a straightforward question. Is the applicant appllying based on HSMP Judical Review (for those who got HSMP Approval before Mar 2006). One can select Yes only if they got their original HSMOP before Mar 2006. To quench your curiosity, yes, my dependents and me got the renewal successfully. I g...
