NCS + JCAP Officer says no payslips/HMRC letter required?

Hello All, I applied for UK Naturalisation and a UK Passport today via Swindon Borough Council NCS+JCAP service today (Jan 23rd 2017). My application was based on five years continuous residence and an ILR since September 2015. I am currently a non-EU/EEA national. I completed the form with all nece...

Re: ILR 10 years long residence query - very scared

Hello all, Thank you all so much for your messages. I must be honest, I am heartbroken at this news. Sept-Dec 2009 was probably one of the hardest and most depressing times of my life as all the problems with the UK Border Agency could have been avoided via multiple means, such as (1) getting the am...

ILR 10 years long residence query - very scared

Dear All, I'm following up on a question I raised back in 2010 regarding my chances of meeting the continuous residence requirements on the 10 year ILR application. See original query and responses below: http://www.immigrationboards.com/indefinite-leave-to-remain/question-over-10-year-ilr-gap-t6105...

Dear All, I think a similar question is asked in the following post below but I didn't see a substantial reply, BUT my situation is a bit different, so please read and comment if you can: uk-tier-2-employer-sponsored-visas/tier-2-new-application-after-redundant-t153178.html?hilit=redundancy#p979450...

Could I have obtained a Tier 1 General?

Dear All, I've just been looking through old news about the Tier 1 General scheme and I just want to check that back in 2010 I didn't make a mistake. Basically in January 2010 I obtained a Tier 1 PSW from outside the UK (long story). Thereafter I returned to the UK to look for work which I subsequen...

Tier 2 general extension salary code of practice

Dear All, I have a question that I'm sure you have all dealt with before but I can't seem to find the answer. I obtained my original Tier 2 General after 6th April 2011 (October 2011 to be exact). I am applying for a Tier 2 extension in a few months and I have noticed that one of the requirements fo...

THanks for your reply. I am pretty confident that it'll be fine. I was just wondering if there is any rule that I'm not aware of.

QUESTION over 10 year ILR gap

I have a question that's been eating me up for months. Here it is. I've been a student from Sep 2005 to Jul 2009 at which point I applied for a PSW a few days before my student visa expired in August 2009 and was rejected one month later due to maintenance (no surprise there). My rejection was dated...

Hey, I'm not entirely sure you can use your oxford brookes degree if you studied in malaysia. As far as I know you need to study at a UK university in the UK only. Working while appealing PSW refusal

Hey guys I have a quick question,

Can someone still work in the UK while appealing their PSW refusal? If possible can you show me where on the UKBA this is confirmed?

Apologies

Do not make duplicate posts . Read The resident labour market test . The RMLT is an "employer" requirement, not an employee requirement. regards Apologies. It won't happen again. I already made duplicate posts in the Tier 1 General and Tier 2 General forums - just so you know. PLLLEEAASEE...

Re: Switching from Tier 2 (General) to Tier 1 (General)

The question I have is: 1. If I am on a T2Gen visa with an indefinite Sponsorship (because my job has no end date) and I lost my job for whatever reason, can I immediately apply for T1Gen (initial or extension) assuming I have accrued enough earnings over the year to meet the points requirement? At...

Switching T2G jobs

Quick question:

Can I switch from one T2Gen job to another? Do I still have to meet the Resident Labour Test requirements assuming my skill is not on the Shortage Occupation List? Can I do it from within the UK or do I have to leave and do it from home?
