Hi Girish, Yes I think you can send your application any time before expiry. If you send your appilaction on 1st march, make sure you send by Royal Mail Nextday SD then HO will receive by 2nd march. And if there is any strike SD will not be affected. But try asap to send your application.

I am not representing him or seeking advice for him. I am just curious to know what can be done in this situation or is there any option to get rid of this problem. He didnt get any ban mentioned in his letter but I am not 100% confirm as I didnt see the letter my self.

You still have time to wait for original, usually it takes 4/5 days to get statement after request but if you dont want to wait then print out online statement and visit Lloyds Branch, they will stamp and sign. I have used Lloyds online statement- signed and stamped at the branch.

If your wife wants to have job then NI is neccessary here. It is always recommended to have her NI.

Visit your local GP (medical centre) for NHS registration.

Simple Chest X ray with report will be fine. This is just to proof that you are TB free..
