But they might ask for all P60s so if you don't have one you can either ask your previous employers to provide you a copy or request a letter ...

Just called UKBA 0870 606 7766 and it is told that if there is a gap/break in the two ECs (visas) then applicant is not eligible for ILR. I replied to the adviser if she is 100% sure about it and she got annoyed as I was challenging her knowledge and competency. Chetan, I specifically told the advi...

Re: Need help; how to get ILR

You can apply after the completion of 4 years. You dont need to pass the life in the UK test. I did, but the case worker told me I was not required to pass the test.. Erm, I don't think that is entirely correct. Life in UK Test is compulsory for all applying for ILR or citizenship. Check the link b...

well the strike was held for 48 hrs on 8th & 9th...not sure why they're holding onto your application. But you mentioned yours was a straightforward case of 5 yrs wp with one employer so hopefully it should be ok...i wish you all the luck!

when did you apply? if it was 2 days back it could be due to the industrial action...lot of others were sent home after consideration but without any decision as they could not do the required verification due to the strike.

Then I was on maternity for 1 year and I was not paid for 6 month. My case worker was not cocerned about it. He asked for P60, 3 Month payslips, 3 ...

Not sure what the problem is. If the nature of your job allows you to work in another UK location and you are still employed on the same work permit by the same company, then it is ok. You should ask for an employer letter from them anyway, stating the dates they employed you. They can also add tha...
