ILR and Permanent residence card mean the same thing in theory only. As you do know Ilr is issued under uk domestic law while Permanent residence card is under EEA Law.

Your wife must be excising treaty right in the Uk before u can study as a home student in the UK. This means applying for eea residence card, i am sure there are many posts in the forum that can give you more information on this.

Since u got ur permanent residence thru eea route , ur spouse can definitely apply for eea residence card if already in d uk or eea family permit if outside the uk. British settlement law will apply if u become a britsh citizen.

Hi everyone i am a PR holder since may2009 according EU directory from my previous marriage and then separation from my ex EU wife, although i'm still waiting for my confirmation from HO. i've been with my current partner for the past 4 years and she was refused her tier4 visa on some stupid reason...
