withdraw ur appeal.contact HO regarding ur departure.since ur passport is expired while with HO,just make them clear to pay for any costs etc for return to ur country.

application returned invalid or refused ? there shld be some sort of information in da HO letter. read that letter properly he won't be overstayer if he has a HO acknowledgement letter proving his application was under process during dat tym. Assuming he applied for extension den hw dey return a bio...

Don't even think abt going to Registrar office .........y u didn't appeal against that deceision into the court .....u culd hv got the visa by now ......u can apply on da basis of unmarried partner assuming u lived together for over two years and hv all the evidences etc......u hv a strong case on s...

from 22 dec.....only option seems to be JR (a lawyer can advise abt it ) or a fresh application within 28 days in a different immigration category

apply for compensation through complaint procedure......make a strong complaint
there is no hurry to leave the country immediately....
tell dem straight away sort my passport and flights as I'm not paying a single penny.....

U hv only 4 months left to complete 10 yrs lawful residence and eligible for ILR
Hw on a earth u decide to leave ur course.....4 months nothing lol
if u goo through FLR (FP) route it would be pretty hard to convince HO on dat basis....its better to stick to ur student visa n everything wuld be fine !

if he's confident enough y he didn't post it himself.

well interview is a standard procedure and he needs to convince y he wants to do another masters.....if he knows the course well and aware of his future career plans shld be okay.

hv u got any photocopies of ur stolen passport/ILR/cover letters

u can request a SAR from home office which can tell you what information they hold about you.
