Thanks for that. Your child is not yet British but there is an entitlement for Registration as British, under section 1(3). A quick and easy procedure, and pain-free, apart from the cost of the application! Section 1(3) applications are taking less than a month to be processed. Having received the ...

Did you send either of the parent's passports? I have not sent parent's passports. I sent only children's passports which has ILR stamps. I am still waiting. An interpretation of that is that you have not sent any proof that the parents have ILR. I suppose so but there was no request (on the form a...

'Unfortunately' there is no such thing as 'dependent' on naturalisation applications. Basically each person fills their own form and must qualify on their own. When it comes to fees Spouses can pay a joint fee, currently £850 and minor children pay £460 for 1st child plus £50 for each additional...

Register child now or naturalize as my dependant later?

My children and I all have ILRs. This means my children are now eligible to be registered as British citizen as they were born here. I will be eligible for Naturalization at the end of the year. If I decide to register my children as British citizens now, it would cost us about £560. but I'd rather...

GP charging £80 quid for each child

My GP is charging an £80 child to sign the British Citizen Registration application. Applications for my 2 children will set me back by £160

Must I have to use a professional who has worked with the children?

I have professional friends who can sign for me.
