Hi, I am also going through tough times regarding the spouse visa. My wife's visa was rejected 4 weeks back. We have re-applied with the correction for the mistake which was mentioned in the refusal letter. reason was the same, maintainence funds lacking. But we reapplied, not appealed. I was wonder...

It was refused for reasons of bank-statements not being proper.
We have to re-apply.

Finally, after 8 weeks and a day, my wife got the msg asking her to collect the passport. She will collect it tomorrow.

I got intimation of my visa approval in 2.5 weeks and received my passport in 3+2/7 weeks. So, just wait for one more week atleast before even thinking about doing something like enquiring or travel-plan changes.

I must add that UP and Delhi come under UK-Delhi-high-commission zone while Bihar falls in Kolkata zone of the UK high commission in India.
