can you please give me your contact number. u cam pm it to me. i'll like to talk to you just in case i need to be prepared for another refusal. Our case seems very similar as I also arrived at similar time frame as yours, to UK with similar visa.

It was refused for reasons of bank-statements not being proper.
We have to re-apply.

my wife got it

Finally, after 8 weeks and a day, my wife got the msg asking her to collect the passport. She will collect it tomorrow.

2.5 weeks is just close to shortest possible time

I got intimation of my visa approval in 2.5 weeks and received my passport in 3+2/7 weeks. So, just wait for one more week atleast before even thinking about doing something like enquiring or travel-plan changes.

I must add that UP and Delhi come under UK-Delhi-high-commission zone while Bihar falls in Kolkata zone of the UK high commission in India.
