Below is a response from my M.P.; I have telephoned today and I'm sorry that I cannot get any further information other than it is "waiting for a decision". I asked if it was normal that it should take so long and was told there was a huge backlog of European cases. I know that's no answer...

And if I was given the residence card the the 6 month time scale that the law says it should take then my husband would not have been a jobseeker for more than 6 months?
Should I state this in the letter?
