Is it mandatory to send the passport from my home country as photo ID? Is it okay if I send only my driving license (original)? All, I have read some where that there would be some 3500 new ones that the minister is going to approve by end of may. Is it still on track or he has already signed them but the ones who got it are not there in this forum ?? i am not seeing any new ones of late and this is causing a bit of concern ...

IIE12 --> Congrats on the approval. Just send them the 500 euro. You would get the approval letter ( official) in 3-5 days. Go to GNIB and get yourself stamped for 5 years.

Do send a copy of the letter and the gnib to citizenship department. It 'might' help in earlier processing.

Hi Starbuck, I have applied in June 2011 and received a letter asking for my employment contract and a letter from the employer. Have you received your approval yet?
