Having a return ticket is not proof of you wanting to return back to Malaysia for the UKBA. You need things like letter from employer to say he is expecting you to return to work after vacation. If you are not working there is no reason for you to return home after visa expires. Easiest way is eithe...

IMHO I think that the waves of immigrants who were invited to come to the UK after the Second World War from the Carribean and the Indian subcontinent are proud to be called British because they have assimilated into British society and have made valuable contributions over the more than half centur...

Thank you for your help and reply. I think the wise thing to do is wait for a few more days and then call the HO for the application status as well as advice. I just want it to be done asap for my husband. He lost his father and couldn't visit him and now his mum is ill which he cannot visit until ...

You have 3 months to do this before your visa expires in August so why are you setting off in September?
IMHO you are looking at a refusal for a visitor visa as you do not a valid excuse

Yet, it has been 12 weeks and we have not recieved a reply in any form. During our visit to the HO, a member of the officer had kept all the documen...

If she doesn't mention the existance of your relationship/friendship in the visitor visa application this will present a problem in the future if you want to apply for a fiancee or spouse visa and you have to give evidence of how long you have known each other. If you withhold the truth now, you wi...

Hi there! I'm in a relationship with a girl in the USA. I live in the UK (naturally). We have met, but obviously haven't been able to cohabit yet. We've dating for just under a year now. I looked into the unmarried partner visa, and it sounded good....until it said you had to have lived together fo...

Re: ILR postal versus face to face

I was told that if my case was slightly complicated that a postal application was the best course of action, that if I did it face to face, the person is there to just tick certain boxes and if it was seen to be too complicated it would turn into a postal application anyway... I just want to get a ...

IMO your response to that post doesn't make sense. If all you can do is put all Nigerians in one basket by saying "to most Nigerians, it's a game". Are Nigerians the most ethnic minorities or migrant in the UK? Is one thing to respond to a post based on the information given, it's another...

How do you know they don't have the evidence?
They may have but choose not to use it at this time.
Do you really want to endanger your visa by telling lies?
