Hi Imtiazm,

Can you pls update on here what actually happened in your child's scenario?

Re: MN1 form - 12 week baby

Hey - I have another query regarding Section 6 - Biometric enrollment

Surely, from 6.1 to 6.16 the form is asking about the applicant, right? i.e. my 12 week old baby - in whose case it should be "NA"?

Thanks

Re: MN1 form - 12 week baby

Hi, Referees I used are 1. Health Visitor - Usually they will do it for free and wont refuse. As they are the ones who knows the baby well. Else you can ask your midwife who does the checks for you and the baby. 2. Any of your British friend , neighbor etc Photograph - we took in the Snappy Snaps. ...

Re: ILR for Spouse - peculiar case

But I would've applied and received ILR so how will she be able to extend her Tier 1 dependent when the main applicant himself doesn't hold a Tier 1 visa anymore?

I think this is going to be hit financially too

Thanks

Re: ILR for Spouse - peculiar case

As you are married and your wife entered uk before the new rules came into existence in 2012, you should both be able to apply for ILR . This is not correct information. The wife was on her own Tier 1 visa as a main applicant not as a dependent. Her qualifying period starts when she switched to Tie...

Re: ILR for Spouse - peculiar case

Tier1G extensions are closing but not Tier1G dependents. And at the time of her ILR, she would apply for ILR and then immediately for citizenship without waiting for 1 year (provided if you hold the citizenship as well). Btw, when you two are married and started living together? Thanks - we got mar...

Re: ILR for Spouse - peculiar case

Thanks Suresh

When she applies for ILR in 2018, I'll probably be a British citizen - would that change anything?
i.e. would she be able to directly for Citizenship?
or she would need to apply for ILR, wait a year and then apply for citizenship?

Thanks again

Tier 1 Extention -- awarded more points than claimed

Hi,

I was awarded more points in Past earnings section than I had claimed by the case worker.

When I apply for ILR, will this be a problem?

Do I have to match the number of points I was awarded during extention of Tier 1 visa?

Thanks!

See paragraph 319C h) of the immigration rules. Switching in country is not possible. Note your wife would need to complete 5 years as your dependent in order to qualify for ilr. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/policyandlaw/immigrationlaw/immigrationrules/part8/familymembersoftier1migrants/ Thank...

Tier 1 (dependent) Spouse -- In country possible?

Hi All,

My wife is in the UK on her own Tier-1 General visa.

Is it possible for her to switch on to my visa as a Tier-1 Dependent without going back to our home country?
