Surrendered passport but no certificate received

Hi Guys,

Please help me with my query.

I surrendered my Indian Passport and they cancelled it and sent it back. But they have not send me any Surrender Certificate.

How can I get surrender certificate as I want to apply for visa to India ASAP.

Surrendered passport at Manchester VFS in person

Hi,

I Surrendered passport at Manchester VFS in person couple of weeks back but have not received any thing back from them apart from a message they sent last week which read my application is currently being processed. Is there any way I can know the progress of the application?

Thanks for replying. Is it possible to surrender passport in person or will I have to wait for 2-3 weeks until the process is finished.
