Initial visa is for 33 months. After 2.5 years, she must apply for an extension for another 2.5 years and meet ALL the requirements again. She will be allowed to work but is cannot claim benefits. She also has to pay the immigration health surcharge which is £600 for the first visa plus the visa fe...

A spouse settlement visa is for someone married to a person who has ILR/PR or is British. If you hold Permanent Residence, then yes, this is the visa you apply for.
