Re: December 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

I have created a tracker for Dec 2014 applications, if there are any mistakes let me know I would correct it.

I will keep it updated every few days or after significant number of updates.

Re: English Lang Cert validation

If you have used the English language test for your previous applications to UKBA then the certification can be reused again irrespective of the validity of the certificate. Actually if you got ILR after Oct 13 then all you have to do is to check the box to mention that you have already proved your ...

Ideally if I were you I will request a CRB check and SAR report, if both are clean then you will not have any issues with your application.

I completely agreed with that. Hoarding of appointment by a few applicants and OISC/solicitors makes the application process unnecessarily complex. Better solution will be to request the payment of application fees during the time of appointment booking, this way the uncertainity of payment issues o...

Not sure how this is used, you can state your connection to your home country and your connection to the UK, my experience it really does not matter on what you put in here unless something that is totally in appropriate. Probably nobody in ukba cares about these. Best wishes for your successful app...

You can apply for ILR from 28 days before the resident permit in your passport expires. But you must apply before the resident permit expires.

You can state on your Set O form the actual date of travel to UK and that you have completed 4 years 11 (or 10 ) months living in the uk.

Good luck.

I had 51 days of absence from the UK and I did not provide any evidence in the form of employer letters. I had provided copies of the passports containing the entry stamps

I was provided the information that my application is successful before being asked to pay the fees

Hope this helps

You have not specified which category that are applying from, if you are applying from WP/Tier 2 then you will need to provide P60 or HMRC earnings statement. If you are applying from Tier1/HSMP then this is not required.

But if this is declared does point 7.1 in Set (O) to be marked Yes?. if this is marked Yes does it mean that we are accepting this as a criminal conviction when in reality it is not?.

Thanks for answering.

Re: 3 week hotel accommodation for dependants

If you are already in the Uk it is better to show evidence of proper accomodation, there is no rules on what kind of accomodation it should be, so theoritically it should be ok. If I am missing something, i always found proper accomodation to be less expensive than accomodating in hotel unless you a...

Re: Can i study full time while on HSMP

When you are on HSMP (tier 1 general) visa, you can study fulltime as long as the earnings are sufficient to gain the points required when you are due for renewal. There is no law which states that you cannot study fulltime while on tier1 (g). And you can work part-time to earn money. Your parttime ...
