The telephone system has been restored and we can now speak directly with them. It even gives you the position on the queue you're in. I have just made an enquiry regarding the documents i sent notifying them of my divorce and letting them know i had retained my right to live here. Very helpful pers...

Hi guys! Is it me or has anyone been trying to call the UKBA Liverpool unit this week and not been able to speak to anyone?? The line now has a new automated female voice message stating that applicants who have applied within the last 6 months will not be able to get progress reports on their EEA2...

after a month i still have not received a thing from them...

even worst, when trying to call the non EEA applications line, no longer are we able to talk to anyone... what a joke

i'm doing this on my own, at the moment i do not see the need for a solicitor since the regulations are very clear. As we know this can get complicated. If so, then i'll find one.

i have sent a letter informing them of my situation with proof that i have retained the right of residence, however i did not apply with the EEA2 form.

when was it that you sent the letter? it usually takes them 2-3 months to reply to any kind of request. you're saying that you are collecting documents to be sent, do you know how you are going to apply? or is it just a covering letter with the proper documents you are sending? it would be much bet...
