My initial Tier1 was approved in India and I was not given any letter at the time of collecting passport. All I have is my initial Tier1 application reference number, which is something like DEAC/xxxxxx/xxxxxx/x. This number was used to track my application on VFS website. Which number is that?

Tier 1 application form filling

some questions may be silly, but I didn't want to take any chance with Tier1 extension application form filling: 1) Shall I leave A3 blank, if I am filling form by myself? 2) A4: applicant full name has 2 rows. Shall I write first name on one row and last name on second row. OR both first and last n...

My passports are not stapled together. You can easily remove the staple I guess. After reading the application form, I think we don't need to mention previous passport, but it would be good to have expert's opinion.

Previous Expired Passport

My Tier1 visa is on my current passport, but I have a previous passport also which is never used for any UK visa etc. The previous passport has some visa stamps from USA and Canada. Do I need to show and include my previous passport? Thanks,

Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) at work address

If I want to get biometric permit on my work address (and not home address), shall I write work address as correspondence address in tier1 application form?

Tier1 application form asks for correspondence address at 2 places: one on payment details page and second on personal details page.

So does it mean that Banker's Draft are cleared immediately at PEO's? and will have no delay in processing the application?

I wish UKBA website is more clear and easy to understand.

To obtain the possibility of a same-day service you need to pay by card.

What you mentioned here conflicts with many other posts which says that banker's draft is cleared on the same day.

1) For Tier 1 General extension at PEO's, do applicant gets passport and other documents on the same day by hand? OR do UKBA sends them by royal mail? 2) If I pay by banker's draft at PEO, how much time it takes to clear the money? On UKBA website, it says 5 days for cheque but no mention about bank...

My Tier1 General is expiring in Feb 2013. I want to go for in-person appointment for extension. Settlement consultaion effect on existing Tier1 General

UKBA started a consultation from 9th June 2011 for changes in employment settlement rules. As far as I understand, if I am granted my initial Tier 1 general in Feb2010, then there will be no change in the settlement rules and I will be able to apply for ILR after 5 years of living in UK. Please corr...
