Foreign exchange from India to uk

How much foreign exchange can I bring from India to UK? I am asking because UK HMRC website says I can bring 10,000 Euros (Rs 6,30,000) but I hear I can take only 10,000 USD (Rs 4,50,000) outside of Indian airport. Shall I convert Rs 6,30,000 to GBP or Rs 4,50,000 to GBP? Is there any limit on how m...

SIM and Adapter

I am coming to London on Tier 1 Visa.

1) Do we need any document to buy SIM in UK? In India, they need ID proof, address proof, photo?

2) Do we need any adapter to use Indian Spam in UK? Are electrical plugs in UK are same as in India?

Thanks,

In the above posts, its mentioned that one has to get TB chest X-ray before going to UK. But I read on UK official website that this requirement is only for few countries and India is not included in that list.

Can somebody confirm that TB X-ray is not required for Indian citizens.

Thanks!

Bank Stmts

I have one question:

All my bank statements are electronic bank statements from Bank of America, USA. But I moved to India now, so I can not get them signed and stamped from USA. Is there any other way to show my previous earnings?

I have all payslips.

Thanks,
