Income from non-trading company

Posting this on behalf of my friend who is planning to apply for ILR next month. He is in a unique situation. He is currently working as PAYE employee and is also sole Director of his own limited company. His income from PAYE is little less than what is required to claim sufficient points for ILR so...

However i was asked for the Company returns and proof of my Corporation Tax payment for past 3 yrs . Hi, 1. Did you carry draft return to cover the period from your last return to your ILR date? 2. What proof did you carry? (I only have accountant's advice and bank statement showing corporation tax...

Dividend Voucher Template

I will be applying for ILR in June-11. My current earnings are from a combination of employment and self employment. I am getting salary slips from my employment and have all P60s too. To meet the salary criteria, I would also need to include my earning from self employment which is a combination of...

I would suggest that rather than speculating a specific imaginary requirement that has / may have the tendency to create panic / rumour etc. amongst migrants that members should instead make use of statements to the effect "subject to changes in immigration rules in the future". Has the s...

I would second that..... At this point when there is so much anxiety regarding the imminent rule changes members should avoid any speculation on what the changes might be as they might be adding to others anxiety although un-intentionally.

1. Since you continued to reside in the UK and your employer filed for extension prior to current leave expiring, it should not be counted as gap. However, if you want peace of mind you may request a SAR. 2. My guess would be if you are employed at the time of application you should be OK. These are...

Revised guidance on ILR-Calculating continuous period in UK

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/newsarticles/2011/february/13-revised-ilr Saw this on UKBA's website today. They say they have revised the guidance for calculating 5 years continuous period for ILR. I couldn't find anything new there. Does anyone know what the changes are? N...

Hi, I am in similar situation as yours. I am self employed too (non IT though). I think there is no need for employer's letter for self employed. In addition to other documents, I plan to carry a letter from accountant showing the dividends + salary you pay yourself each month. In addition, I would ...

6. Then she asked about the employment. I operate as an employee and director of a company. Gave details. She asked for company accounts. I handed over last 3 years accounts. Do you mean profit and loss account (or year end account)? I was of the opinion that you need a letter from accountant and y...

Chetan,

Thanks for the accountant letter template. Its a great help. In addition to the documents that jgsjgs mentioned above, is there a requirement for the accountant to provide updated profit and loss statement as well?

I am an engineer in oil and gas sector. I have been in UK since mid 2006. From my experience most of the jobs in Aberdeen are offshore / subsea related. A lot of them needs offshore survival and medical. Unless you have similar experience / background, I would suggest you to live near London.

Absence Vs ILR

It is Madrid based but the company has a registered office in the UK through which I can be hired and can be p...

Re: EU Work permit - Blue Card

Only that would have been enough to answer my query Mr Wanderer. If you were trying to be funny, I must say you have a terrible sense of humour. It's called wit. Google it. Only if sarcasm was wit. Just goes to show how witty you are. ;-) I had asked a simple question, all you did was try and...
