Re: Knowledge of Language

Hey Krishna...I have only applied recently (beginning of Mar), so won't be able to answer your question until I hear from UKBA. Until then, I am keeping my fingers crossed...

All the best!

Re: Evidence for change of wife's maiden name

Thanks for your rsponse.

This process will not work for us as the marriage certificate was issued in India and I cannot send it to UK govt for change of surname.

Any other suggestions?

Thank you.

All, My wife maiden name is mentioned on the marriage certificate. However, her current Indian passport has my last name. She has applied for the residence permit and ILR using my last name. What evidence should I provide for change of her last name after marriage? The only document I can think of i...

Section 1.6 - Form AN

All, Naive questions which I shall still ask to avoid confusion... Section 1.6 doesn't explicitly ask for first name. But, do I need to mention the first name here? Wife's maiden name should be mentioned in section 1.7 or section 1.8? Do I just mention the last name before marriage or both first nam...

Joint Application

Hi,

I am applying for naturalisation along with my wife. I don't see the option to say joint application in the AN form. Where can I mention it?

Or is it the case that I just need to enter the joint application fee in the payment slip and send it along with both the application forms?

Thanks

Ankur

Thank you for your response. To confirm, you only sent copies of BRP card, approval letter and marriage certificate? Are you aware of others who have sent copies (which were not attested) and had no problem? I am planning to use NCS as do not want to send my passport or BRP card. What did you put in...
