It is not 225 days. It is 180 days.
If you explain your business leaves on letter from employer, that should suffice. Although I do not have more info on that.
Someone else can definitely help you on this.

I was also paid one month by cheque by my employer and I had provided letter to this effect, for my tier1 appln. Although my amount in bank stmt. mat...

I also have a similar problem. But solictiors have advised that I need to apply for "Spouse visa" for my wife, if I get ILR, even though the visa is valid till Sep 2011. The Tier1 dependent visa (of Wife) is no longer valid as soon as I change my status to ILR. i think FLR(m) is required w...

With regards to ILR under WP, you can show your bank stmts with overdraft. There is no maintenance requiement for ILR. You need to show P60's, atleast last 3 mths payslips, 3 mths bank stmts, letter from employer. Hi I have applied for ILR based on 10 years long residency rules in March 2009 and hav...

Can you confirm your residence status? I believe you are a permanent resident/British citizen. If yes, then you can claim benefits and it is not a problem for your husbands ILR. Also confirm on what category your husband is applying for ILR ? Hi My husband and I are about to apply for his ilr in the...

Re: Maintenance fund requirement for WP holder

Don't worry ! they should not raise this as a concern. you were still earning... Ppl do fall sick or take leaves... All the best ! I dont think you should have any problems with less salary. I believe you are well under the 180 days absence limit for 5 years. hey thanks again, yes i travelled out of...

Re: Maintenance fund requirement for WP holder

There is no maintenance , min. balance requirement for ILR. You would need to pass Life in UK test. You can learn and pass that in the next few months, but definitely before you apply for ILR. Details: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/settlement/knowledge-language-life/ You would need to show that ...

Re: HSMP Extension and ILR.

It is not an issue. Some of my visa's have the type of visa while some do not. This is normal. Just remember to submit your Home office letter that was issued alongwith the extension. When I received my HSMP extension (1+4 years), the sticker on the passport said "Limited Leave to Remain"....

Re: ILR due and passport expiring

My suggestion would be to go for option1 and then always carry/keep both old and new passports together while travelling. There is no need/requirement to transfer your visa from old to new passport. You just need to carry both together. Hi all My ILR Is due now and my passport is expiring later this...

Re: HSMP (JR) - Minimum Money in Bank Account

No. There is no min. balance requirement for ILR. but you need to provide sufficient proof that you are economically active (salary slips,P60) and you would be required for employment by your current employer. Hi all, I am going to apply for ILR under HSMP (JR). My question is there is any specific ...

You can apply in Nov 2011. i.e. 5 years from Dec 2006, minus 28 days, provided you complete all requirements for ILR.
