You can carry all those documents as a backup and submit if only asked for. I was not asked a single document for my wife. The only proof was the joint bank a/c stmt. And yes originals, no copies. All the best ! Ahh yes , sorry forgot last 3 wage slips , and yes my wife is applying as my dependant o...

They checked the appt. letter or the SMS confirmng the date/time of the appt. After the initial security c...

Re: Copies of which docs are required ?

You also need to provide salary slips for atleast last 3 months. You KOL pass certification letter. You need to provide all original documents. No copies. They will make copy themselves if required. They will return all original documents except letters which have been addressed to them eg. Employer...

Re: Umbrella Company - Payslips

Who is listed in your P60 as employer ? and which company name is mentioned in your salary slip ? That company is your employer. The different agencies you work for are your company's clients and not your employer. I believe you have signed a contract with the umbrella company and not the agencies d...

Re: ILR

Your case is indeed very interesting! The answer to your query is: If you change from Tier1 to WP dependent, then WP dependent rules will be applicable, which is favorable for you! And if you again switch back to Tier1 dependent then again it requires you to be 2 years in UK which means you wont be ...

1. No. It cannot be included as you are applying in a new category on your own. 2. ILR clock will start from Apr 2006 when you came to UK with WP. (The date of landing in UK is important not the date when your visa was stamped). 3. ILR rules will change in July 2011. See http://www.ukba.homeoffice.g...

1. Yes after she gets FLR. 2. You should apply for extension (FLR) first as the gap in entering UK is more than 28 days. 3. Date of entry in UK. (They expect the applicant to travel within 28 days after granting visa.) Check this: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/settlement/ "Please do not sen...

Re: tier 1 to ILR

For ILR under Tier1 category, you need to show that you were economically active in UK. Looking for job is also considered to be economically active. Keep all proofs of job application and interview appt. letters. (pass/rejects). Register with consultants and if possible get letters from them as wel...

Is it possible to get a reference letter from your current employer? 180 days in 5 years and 90 continuous days of absence anytime within the 5 years. 315 days in 5 years is not acceptable as per UKBA guidelines unless it was done for official business purposes and you were paid full salary in UK during that time. Were you employed in India (Oct 06 to Mar 07) during your absence for medical emergencies? Re: No Of Days Absence 136 Days-No Employer Letter-Any thoug

I personally don't think the gap of continuous 136 days will help you, even if you get a letter from employer. The employer though has sent you on a official visit has not paid you in UK. (No NI/Tax paid in UK). So IMHO, unfortunately the chances of getting ILR are very grim. Please consult solicito...

Unfortunately, its a continuous absence of more than 90 days! And as you do not have any income proofs to show during this period, IMHO it difficult to get ILR. Please contact a lawyer and get their opinion as well. Hi, I have HSMP , by last April i qualiify for ILR according to Judical review. But ...
