Hi Gurus, Junior Members and Newbies! Just seeking a clarification about my wife's PR status...story in a nutshell... She came to the UK May 2007 on the SAWS programme, they are allowed to work for 6 months maximum, bust since she applied in the middle of the year, she was only given a 3 months perm...

JoS, I think the earliest an A2 national can apply for PR is actually January 2012 even if their situation is different from the OP. Bulgaria and Romania joined the EU in January 2007.

Due to some pm I recieved from some members on this forum, may I state that HO did request for my passport before the residence card was issued and I have it posted to HO directly from my country through dhl so I guess the ID card I submitted wasn.t enough. Cheers!
