Re: processing speed

Hello everyone, great forum, thank for all your contribution to the topic, here is my experience Applied in Oct 2009 based on 5 year residency, no request for additional documents so far, I plan to send them my recent pay-slips and P21, called INIS yesterday to ask about the status of my applicatio...

I'm sure I've done these applications before (where the spouse didn't have the Naturalisation Cert for 3 years) and they've been successful, but I'll have to check. The INIS does not mention that this 3 year rule applies before naturalization or after. Given the fact that a person acquires citizens...

My goodness, this is ridiculous. Why can't they do them in chronological order? So according to their website, they are processing 2009 applications when there are people from 2007 still waiting.. really frustrating :( And if you look at the LTR page it says Applications for Long Term Residency - W...

This is very strange. There should be the difference between 1 or 2 weeks, or a month or 2 months. 6 month time frame is no where near to the applicants who applied in 2009, 2010 and even for some who applied in 2007/8

There may be even more reasons to be optimistic yet: The justice minister said he had slashed the huge backlog of citizenship applications since coming to office and expected to have it completely cleared by spring next year. There are still 13,500 applications awaiting decisions for more than six ...

I received my letter on june 16th and most people in the forum received between the 16th and 22nd.I remember that I sent my add documents at the same time as tired...

@ 9jeirean: Very detailed and good analysis. Thanks for this post. I wonder how they are going to achieve 6 months time frame. I think they must be operating in 2-3 teams who are processing as follows: 1) Team A which is trying to clear the back log i.e. applications from 2007-Mid 2009 2) Team B whi...

at this rate it may be faster if I apply again with the new 6-month scheme.

This is infuriating! Spoke to INIS and they advised me "that my file hasn't come back from the minister yet", even though last week I was told that my file is back but they are busy processing the backlog. It's great that the system is improving, but why can't you just get a consistent an...

INIS said they still have to open 2010 cases which is totally false statement. Yes, there are many people including few w...
