Hi Panesar, Just to confirm that you had no questions around absences at all...? Could they have gone through the your passport maybe and worked out time out of the country based on stamps? Reason I ask is that I am going for ILR via SET(M) and although I understand that absences are not critical -...

Hi, I was recently granted ILR as spouse of a British Citizen and since i've been in the UK since 2004, i understand that i can apply for citizenship straight away. My question is that when i was granted FLR (M) two years ago (i was on a work permit before that), i was issued with an Identity Card f...

Thank you GBINR. My father himself does not have an OCI card as he has a long term visa that doesnt expire until 2013. So i thought i would apply for my OCI before he does. I hope that doesnt cause a problem. Do you have an OCI card? I'm wondering if it will be easier to wait until my father has the...

Hi Chica It looks like we applied around the same time. I received my passport and ID Card back in early March. Have you done your biometrics yet? They do say you have to wait 14 weeks after the submission of biometrics, but personally from my experience, i got my ID card and Passport back 4 days af...

You can apply under FLR (M) as soon as you are married. I just went through the same procedure and got my FLR (M) four days after biometrics, but 12 weeks since the date of application.

The sooner you apply the better! Good luck!

Hello All, I applied for my COA in April last year and got it the same month. It seems that the HO has gone down hill since then. I suggest those who are waiting should contact the Freedom of Information Team and ask them for the number of applicants that applied in July, the number of COAs processe...

I really hope we get the ID cards soon after. Fingers crossed!
