You could be creative in answering that question and say 'overseas assignment - India'. IMO, 'offshore' is a tricky word to use as this may be interpreted adversely to your situation. Thanks for cs95tdg your reply. Much appreciate. in Section 6.2 of SET(O) form they have asked "reason for absence". If I write worked from India for those 85 days, will it create any problem in my ILR Visa processing? if yes, any suggestion what reason I can mention?

1) Can I claim uplift for May 09 to June 09? ( I was in India in this period and earned salary in INR so Can I use India Multiplier (5.3) for earnings of this period and also UK Experience 5 point claim as GBP earning in this period was more than 16K)
