We are expecting our second baby in novemb...

Re: Applying for Passport + return of documents

If you don't want to take the risk, she can apply for her passport when she gets back from the wedding. Thanks CR001, its just you know lack of patience - having waited for so long and then waiting for another couple of months. On a serious note, from what I know her ILR becomes invalid once she ge...

Re: May 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

dks100 I got the same message from NCS Bristol - they made copies of all my other documents and returned the originals to me, but with the Life in the UK certificate they sent the original because I would not need it again. They said it would be returned to me if my application was not successful. ...

Re: Spouse NCS same days as Citizenship ceremony

Thanks Milan69. The only 'wrong' thing I can think of is I will have to get the referees and countersignatory to sign in advance and put a later date on their signatures. Actually the referees are fine, it's the counter signatory who has to affirm all the information in the passport form. Or maybe I...

Re: February 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

Inspired by your success ;) I kept and kept trying and just got through! They said they sent "something" yesterday which should reach me within 2 weeks and if I don't get it to call them back in 2 weeks to chase it up. However, they could not tell me what that "something" is - a...

Re: February 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

Friends, What is the best number to contact HO to find the status of my application? recently ROYAL MAIL has lost my mails and delivered it to a wrong address, so I am just making sure my nationality result is not a part of that lost mail batch. My NCS (Hillingdon) does not even have an email address to contact, and they are clueless over the phone :( Congratulations jah79! did you use the same FurtherNationalityEnquiries@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk to get the status of your application? This is what the Trinity College gave me when i called them. The website has details about the requirements as well. Cheapest option I could find to be honest, and takes AT MOST 10 days to get the certificate.
