Non-EU (but EU Resident) with EU-Wife Studying

My wife is studying in Zurich, and I am here already with her in Zurich. 3 questions: Am I eligible for the Swiss Family Reunification Visa? Do I have to go to Spain to get it? My nationality application is processing, does this...

Re: EEA2 Application help

Thanks for the reply! Ok, that sounds good but I am just wondering how much money we need to have in our account for us to be considered self-sufficient. AND/or could we say that we have relatives (ie. parents) to help if the amount they require is beyond what we can show! We have signed letters fro...

John, the only thing we aren't sure about is, we don't have a definitive: -contract that my wife will work, or -a university acceptance letter for her, and -payslips, showing income (she works in a hotel), -a "vida laboural" (a record of her working experience). Any ideas? Many thanks, Ben

As regards the application for EEA Family Permit, how would your wife be exercising her EU Treaty Rights in the UK? Employed? Self-employed, a student, or self-sufficient? Spoke to them? Who are "them"? I spoke to my university, the admissions co-ordinator there. As a Moderator here I can see the IP address you used to make your post, and therefore see which country you are in. Are you legally resident in that country, or just a visitor? As I have a residen...

Family Permit as a student: Payslips/accommodation...

I am Australian, and my wife is Spanish. We are looking to go to the UK under the family permit scheme as I have gained entry to a British Uni. We figured that as we are married, I wouldn't need to go for Tier 4 Student visa and that the Family Permit route would be much easier. I have five quick qu...
