Re: go ahead and use company stationery

Thanks for your responses. We actually only receive an electronic payslip, which really looks like any payslip I've ever had - no colour, just in black and white detailing the information about gross/net/sick/deductions and thats about it. My plan is actually to do the following when collecting evid...

Re: Earnings evidence signed and stamped by employer

A letter from company letter head, from the HR or Salary slips stamped and signed (Stamped = Official stamp of the company and not the date, signed = HR or the accountant or the financial controller) Thanks for your response. If I were to throw another question in the same direction. The Tier 1 Gui...

Earnings evidence signed and stamped by employer

Hi there, Starting to gather evidence for my Tier 1 General application and just want to clarify a couple things based on other people's experience. The Tier 1 General Guidance notes dictates that one form of previous earnings evidence must be supplied by your employer. So this can either be a lette...

Re: Same Bank Statement for Maintanence and previous earning

As an extension to this question (I don't want to start a new topic), when gathering evidence for previous earnings, one piece of evidence I will use is my bank statements (to be signed and stamped by the bank and printed on official bank stationary). Is it sufficient to show one bank statement filt...

30 points = Bachelors
5 points = UK experience.

If your degree isn't from the UK then its only 30 points.

Yes.. Do you mean that I can claim 35 points with the current system? Is this true? then amazing!! Bachelors degrees are only worth 30 points in the new system. But 35 if the degree was from a UK university (30 points for Bachelors + 5 points uk experience). If the online PBS calculator recognises ...

I'm not sure if anyone knows, but I'll ask this anyway. I'm reluctant to start a new forum thread, because there already is about 20 about the new Tier 1 changes. I will be applying and paying for the Tier 1 General the moment the changes are implemented (on Apr 6th or 7th). I am applying out of UK ...

Hi Guys, I need your help with in this please. According to new rules: The new points table will not apply to migrants who are in the UK in one of the following immigration categories: • Tier 1 (General), with leave granted before 6 April 2010 • The Highly Skilled Migrant Programme (HSMP) • W...

Yes the NZ multiplier is very generous, considering Australia doesn't get one at all, and there is not a massive difference in wages between the countries. I would expect NZ's to be changed in the upcoming review. When I applied for Tier 1, you could get the max points for salary on around $NZ40k, ...

In my opinion, this makes it alot easier to get the Tier 1, since they relaxed the education requirement rules. A 29 year old or younger person having a bachelors degree should earn a minimum of around 47k INR per month (assuming £=75). If 30-34yrs old then he/she should be earning around 65k INR ...

Heh. Maybe an annoucement today? Taking into account two lost days from the strike on the 8-9th March, then add two days to March 16th to give March 18th? Again, all speculative theories. You are a fortune teller, aren't you? :) Made logical sense :P. Funny thing is I'm writing this at 3am. I woke ...

tier 1 requires minimum earnings of 25k !!!!! That's absolutely brilliant for me. Looks like I should be able to travel on the Tier 1 visa, and I'll apply right on the 6th April 2010. The key point for me is that they are NOT change the multipliers for the time being. So whatever the multiplier you...

Re: Announcement of changes to Tier 1 requirements

I have heard through various immigration agencies that the Government was intending to make an announcement on 16 March 2010 regarding the MAC recommendations, with changes to be implemented on 6 April 2010. I appreciate that any such comments are speculative and that nothing is certain until the a...

Basically I'm waiting to see what the changes are (particularly with regard to the previous earnings attribute, which...
