I am currently Stamp 4. My wife has acquired Irish Citizenship by Naturalisation. My kids have Irish Citizenship too. I am planning to go back to my country (Non-EU) for a while for around 4-5 years. Atleast they should send a letter back acknowledging that they got the application and it is under consideration or some thing. May be too much of applications!

Any one got any sort of acknowledgemt or reply for their Change of Status (Stamp Change) application to DoJ based on Zambrano judgement. It is almost 2 weeks and till now I havent got a word from the Dept. :cry:

According to Immigrant Council of Ireland (as per Today - 15th April 2011) a person on Stamp 3 should send application to General immigration Section, INIS for a change of Status to Stamp 4. I wont go to GNIB and make a fool of myself before any final decision is made by the Minister.
