Re: EEA citizen but permanent residency broken for 13 months

The six months only breaks your residence if you are still gathering time for the five years to get PR. After you get PR, you only lose it if you're going for two years. That's how I understand it, anyway. Yeah that's what I thought. I went back to UK after living outside UK temporarily for about 1...

Re: EEA citizen but permanent residency broken for 13 months

Hi Froggybinou,

I was just wondering if you have submitted the application already. I have the same situation on the broken residency, so I was wondering if I have to wait for a while to apply for naturalization.

Re: Secondment for WP Holder

HR dept at her company just mentioned that she is not allowed to do secondment by UKBA. Is this true? I believe so. See Working and conditions . regards Thanks for your reply. I have seen the link that you've posted. Actually, she calles the office yesterday and they didn't really give clear answer...

Secondment for WP Holder

Hi All, I would really appreciate if you can share your experience on secondment issue. My girlfriend has been asked by her company to do secondment in other country. She will still have to work part of the time in London office as well but she will spend most of the time at her company's client as ...

Re: change in pay/salary

Ok, maybe I'm not an expert for WP holder application. However, do you have to show the HO letter? As I said in the previous post, I'm not sure that they would have concern over the issue. Change in situation like pay, work terms are not unusual. What they concern is that you have legitimate job (yo...

Re: change in pay/salary

I'm not sure why they would care about your salary or the change of the salary. What they need to know is whether you're still needed by your company. So you need only to show letter from the company to confirm that. Just keep it simple. Your case is pretty much straightforward. Just follow the guid...

ILR HSMP JR Experience - No company letter required

I got my ILR yesterday by application in person at Croydon office. I was quite surprised that the process was so efficient and fast. Just handed my documents, the lady checked them and no questions at all. She said that it would take 45 minutes for the process but as soon as I found that she didn't ...

I think you will need the letter that should mention that they will still need you.

Thank you coolwp. Try not to worry too much! I would imagine an employer's letter is necessary because it summarises and endorses your current employment situation. That said, they didn't request to see my husband's letter. All they took was the three most recent payslips and the most recent P60. T...

Re: Employer Letter for ILR?

Hi everyone, When you apply for ILR you have to show a letter from your employer stating they will need you after you obtain the ILR. Correct me if I am wrong. If the employer refuses to give this letter what can you do? Or if the employer asks you to stay for example of another six months what can...

Yes, no employer letter is necessary for Tier1. It's only for WP holder. It is stated in the form
