Visa Curtailed, Out Of Time Application with New Sponsor

My last visa was curtailed and I was given a few months to get a new sponsor. The organisation who are working on processing a new ceritificate of sponsorship for a Tier 2 Visa are not aware of how time sensitive my case is. I was wondering if, in the case of a visa that was curtailed, I still get a...

Re: HR forgot to renew Sponsorship Certificate now I must le

Sounds like your visa got curtailed but you get given time to post a new application. You said you have till May, is that what your letter of curtailment says? That's ample time anyway and this also means you are still here legally and have not broken any immigration rules. All you need to do is to ...

Re: Can I switch Tiers after a Tier 4 Curtailment?

yes u can switch Tier's if u r eligible to a different tier category. There is no hurdle for switching. Curtailment means UKBA reduce your visa to 60 days. In other words u have new expiry date. It won't effect anything if u apply within those 60 days u will get a right of appeal if refuse and can ...

Re: Can I switch Tiers after a Tier 4 Curtailment?

If visa is curtailed and 60 days have passed, you would still have 28 days to apply (however appeal rights will not be available in those 28 days) If there's a break in your legal status for 10 years, you will not be eligible for 10 years settlement route. Thanks I am aware of these points and I am...

Can I switch Tiers after a Tier 4 Curtailment?

Hi, My student visa was curtailed and I have been given 60 days to get a new sponsor. I was wondering if it's possible to switch Tiers if a visa has been curtailed? For example, can I make an application for a Tier 1 Visa or Tier 2 Visa? I am considering my options while I think about what to do. I ...

Please be patient. They are working as fast as they can at the UKBA. I received my biometrics letter 3 weeks after my application. Timelines do vary so I wouldn't base it on that. Just relax and best of luck!

Thanks Greenie! It certainly would not be possible to miss the registration. Registrations are usually 1 week - 1 month before classes actually start (as in my case). I certainly hope the delays for visa processing have been resolved as this rule would mean those applicants hoping to start at an A-r...

Hi again, I recently saw somewhere, not sure where exactly, that an application for a Tier 4 student visa can only be made no more than 1 month before the start date of a course, but I have also read in the forums here that it is no more than 3 months. Can anyone clarify as well as point me in the r...

Ok thanks Greenie! Always good to get someone elses perspective. I guess the other option would be to raise 50K+, re-register as self-employed and go for the entrepreneurial route with which I will be able commence and complete my studies...the only problem is raising the funds.

Thank you for the prompt response.

It's a creative media diploma at NQF level 3. From what I have been reading this will pose as a hurdle as I already have a masters, I have been doing some creative media work for the last 2 years and had hoped to improve my skills through formal education.

Hi, So I am on a PSW visa at the moment after studying for 5 years here all the way up to a masters level from a bachelors. I worked straight after I switched to the PSW though I had a plan to switch back to Tier 4 to pursue a course in the arts which is completely different from the finance degrees...

My student visa application just got refused and I am waiting for my MSc results to reach me within 15 days. Can I appeal for now and then discontinue with it and apply for my PSW as soon as my MSc result reaches me? Thanks a lot for your help. Why was your student visa refused? The way I see it is...

Ask your university to give you a letter closer to the time (Aug or early September) stating when the degree will be awarded and when the graduation date will be if succesful. UKBA usually grant you a student visa extension in order for you to attend your graduation (and a little after) if succesful...

Re: Will I still be showing £800 for maintanance.

Hi, I have got PSW and in the UK for more than 2 years now. I have been maintaning £533 for each dependant for 3 months. However, people have started saying me that I must keep £800 for myself as well on top of my dependants. Is that true that I would be needing (£533 * 3) +£800? Please clarify...

So I posted here a while back but here is the stroy in brief. It mentioned that this is a confirmation of the award you are due to recieve after the senate approves of this on the 21st of dec 2010. As I have met the condition of HO by retaining #800 and above in my account from the 29th of Sept to 31st of Dec and also had a confirmation of my degree (as seen ...
