The home office would have sent you a correspondence (a letter confirming that your application has been approved) when they returned your documents. The reference number should be on the top right corner of the letter.

Supreme Court Ruling: Work Visa

Hi All, I stumbled across this article and thought I share it with the forum just in case anyone has been denied in a similar situation. You could have a good case if you are given the right to appeal. http://www.workpermit.com/news/2012-07-24/uk/court-ruling-on-uk-immigration-rules-prompts-emergenc...

I believe they are also looking at reinstating the maintenance funds. Which means from 6th April 2012 anyone switching from PSW to Tier 2 will have to have £900 in their account for 90 days immediately before the application.

Thanks for your response. I am basically trying to switch from PSW to Tier 2 but the soc code which is closer to my job description is not on the graduate list (3520) which is surprising however there is another soc code which I can relate to my job description (3539). Do you think it will matter if...

It was held at Taylor house. I assume that after accepting that the home office made an error and I have met the immigration requirements it should be allowed. I would definitely call them on Tuesday as Monday is a bank holiday and find out what he means.

@ potterbond009, am so sorry to hear that. So the judge did not refer to the certificate as a "new" evidence? I am asking because i read from a thread that the judge might see it as a new evidence and might not accept it. Anyway, I intend to present my certificate as a collaborative eviden...

@ potterbond009, was your certificate accepted by the judge when you presented it at the appeal. Was that the reason you were refused or was it because of your maintenace fund?

Thank you
