Acknowledgement from HO after amending COS

Hi My HR amended my work end date on my COS from 5 to 3yrs, by adding a sponsor note. Is a sponsor note sufficient to correct the 'work end date' ? or do I need an acknowledgement letter / email from HO confirming the change ? I just want my Tier 2 extension to go smoothly, kindly advice. Many thanks

Re: Immigration Health Surcharge

Hi

I'm applying for 3yrs remaining T2 extension but my COS is for 5yrs, although my HR plans to add a sponsor note with new end date to reflect 3yrs only.

Should I be paying IHS for 3yrs or 5yrs ? Please advise. I searched other posts and couldn't find a answer. :(

Re: Tier 2 (Gen) extension

Hi CR001

I've been issued a 5yr COS for my extension, but I can only apply for the remaining 3 years (as total 6yrs in Tier2 General) . Can I still apply for the remaining 3yrs extension and pay IHS for 3yrs only ? Please help.

I wouldn't ask that question before my last interview round. But I will ask them everything once I'm offered a job and before they are ready to assign a new COS.

Re: COS for 5yrs, applying extension for 3 years

Sorry to bump this topic, but any help on the above query please ? My employer gave me a 5 year COS for my extension, while it should have been 3 years (done 3yrs on tier2 already). Will I have to pay 5 years IHS fee ? or will I need a new COS with 3 year COS ? please help me with an answer. Thanks.

COS start/end dates entered wrongly

Hi

I've been assigned a new COS, but HR entered wrong start and end dates. Can these be amended on the same COS number ? Or Will I need a new COS with correct info ?
Hoping to make a T2 extension application in a few weeks time.

Many Thanks in advance.

Re: Change of address

I don't think its mandatory but best to have your current address updated with HO especially during a visa extension or if you're expecting letters. You can do it online here: https://eforms.homeoffice.gov.uk/outrea ... pdate.ofml

Re: Tier 2 Extension Salary Requirement

Code: Select all

So I assume I need £25,662 ( 14.10 X 35 X 52 ). please correct me if I am wrong?
If I'm not wrong, it should be 28600/39 * 35 which gives you £25,666.67 for 35hrs a week
wait for others to comment.

Re: Is point claim are right??

Certificate of Sponsorship (shortage occupation) 0 Do i have to write 0 or N/A or leave it blank ?

enter N if its not shortage occupation, it's the employer who assigns COS not the employee.
