Re: Walkin - NCS can I - five years not in UK - urgent

I dont have any immediate travel planned.

So if I submit the application form on Monday as next day delivery, are you suggesting that I will get the originals back within 4-6 weeks?

So I dont have to wait until naturalisation approval (i.e. 3 months) ?

Re: Walkin - NCS can I - five years not in UK - urgent

Thanks, well I know I can wait until Feb 2015 But I was thinking if there is minimal risk and if the application is sent by next day delivery (which is what the council told me on phone) then home office should recieve it next day. I was checking a. if its worth the risk and b. if I can walk in If I...

Re: Walkin - NCS can I - five years not in UK - urgent

I arrived back in Feb 2010 and flew on 4th Dec, stamp on arrival is of 5th Dec. So if the home office receives application on the next day of appointment then I can submit on the 2nd or 3rd Dec and see if I can get my date changed to any of these? My current appointment is on 4th Dec and if I read c...

Hi, I have a NCS appointment booked for 4th of Dec. However I have now realised that I was out of the UK on 4th Dec, 5 years back so wont qualify. My leave then was fairly long so I wish to send in the application such that it is received by the home office when I was in UK, 5 years back and hence b...

Thanks for the quick reply.

I have been informed that the minimum age to bring adult relatives is 65, however the IDI says 18.

Does anyone have confirmation on this ?

Also, any help with other queries in my first post will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Do you mean they were coming back in 3 months in the same year ? That means they were allowed to stay more than 6 months in the same year (with a break obviously).

Anyone else here who has applied for a 5 Year UK visitors visa ?

Greenie, Thanks. Yes its a no brainer to extend and apply in a years time. But there are reasons for which I wanted to know about this option. It is something that I as a sponsor would want to know. But if she applies for a new dependent visa again and falls in the 5 year rule will she have to wait ...

Thanks.

I am in permanent employment.

The case worker said that by the way I had arranged all documents separately, looking at the cover letter and highlighting the salary in bank statements.

I found it took more time in Croydon...I was ready to go in 2 hours and people seemed more friendly too.

Kevin,

Yes, however for passport the caseworker requested only the front page and nothing else. She said that she doesnt need all the pages.

I had copies of all the stamps.

Also no photocopy for the SET (O) form...
