Hi,

My Tier 1 General Appeal was approved 4 months ago but I haven't receive any letter or response from Home office.

Is there any contact phone number or email address to contact Home office?

My friend's Tier 1 General appeal is approved on 5th January 2011 and its more then a month now but he haven't heard anything till now from Home office... anyone with any information how long will it take to receive a letter from Home office...

My friend just got his Tier 1 (general) visa and on his Biometric Visa Card says

Restricted Work NO Dr/Dentist Training.

Can some explain why it;s Restriceted work while on Tier 1 General.

I am in UK for almost 10 years and I just wanted to know that my 10 years included my 2 years as Tier 1 (Post Study Work) and will I be able to apply for Long stay 10 years ILR.

yes, My Master degree from India is in PBS Calc and NARIC but my PGD from UK is lost, I have my Indian degree with me as I got a duplicate from India but I haven't got UK PGD certificate and transcript as College is now closed and I only have attested copies with me.

Lost my Original PGD certificate

I want to apply for Tier 1 General visa soon but I have lost my PGD certificate and the college is now closed and they are not in business any more. Can any one tell me what exactely should I do? I have jsut one photocopy of my certificate.

Yes... Thats the answer I am also looking for.. as on Post study work visa I am allowed to work or study.. Can they raise this Question that why and how can you study full time while you are working full time... which I did luckely... but accourding to my visa .. I can work and Study...

Yes it was a totally new course and I work 4 days and studied 3 days.. so it was a full time course and full time work too. as you know that its easy to manage..... and i had no legal binding to work full time and study full time...
