she has been informed by work and pension department that she is eligible for Maternity Allowence but will it effect her ILR application as she is still under immigration control as she is ILR dependant/

which visa form to use??

My friend recently got his ILR on 10 years long residency in Feb 2012.

He was on 9 years student and 1 year Tier 1 general. his wife is with him for last 3 years and now he wants to apply for her visa and he wants to know which form he should use and do she needs to complete 5 years for ILR?

Yes go for PNC check. for this you need to go to any Police station and submit the form with a small fee and they will post the report on your home address. all criminal convictions are on PNC and if PNC is clear then no need to worry !!!

CRB doesn't contain all PNC checks. you need to go to Police station and make a request according to Data Protection Act and pay a small amount of money and fill a form to get all detaila about your self in PNC. I have suggested my friend to re-apply and produce as much as possible Proof which can support your fathers bound to the home country and produce proof of all his income too.

My friend approached few Solicitors and you would be surprised to know that they are asking £1200 minimum to launch appeal against the decision.

Now I believe if he will get some help from here so he may launch his appeal without these expensive solicitors.

My friend has also confirmed that his fathers submitted three Properties documents and shops which he owns and mentioned that they have 3 sons and 2 daughters living with all other close family members in karachi.

In Pakistan and specially in Karachi no one takes a risk to take cash into Bank account or Withdraw large amount of money from Bank account. mostly cash handling and my friend have 4 brothers and a joint family system so all the money come into father and mothers hand.

once your application is received at home office, they scan all documents and attached them to your previous records.

you can also check that by requesting SAR.

My friend also applied for his ILR on 8th March and his form was return because of one signature missing and he signed the form and return it back and now after two months on 10th May he received his Biomatric letter.
