Thanks all. I thought my lawyer got that bit confused too and I mentioned it to her but she still insists it's for qualification section (not the uk experience section). I asked her to show me where it says it in the guidance and she couldn't point me anywhere, so I think (hoping!) she must have got...

applying tomorrow - question on qualification date

Hi, Quick question as I am applying tomorrow! For the qualification section, do you put the end date as the date you qualified or the date you graduated? I qualified in 2004 but didn't graduate until 2005. In my original hsmp application I put down 2004 when I qualified, but my degree certificate (w...

Five year qualification rule?

Hi, I am currently on an hsmp visa, applying for tier 1 extension and my lawyer just informed me that she doesn't think that I will get points for the qualification section of my application because my degree was awarded more than 5 years ago. I've never seen anything about this on the rules, can so...

Can I just ask, how do they know if a photograph is older than 1 month? The photos that I'm submitting are about a year old - but they fall within the guidelines, and other than a slight haircut change, I look exactly the same. I don't mind getting photos done again if I need to, but how do they ver...

Thanks vks. I did see that post which gave me hope, but as my documents have already been returned to me, unfortunately it won't be possible for them to re-do the payment (they have already destroyed the second payment form i sent them for 'security reasons'). arsenal - i didn't include a special de...

payment rejected, visa expiring in 10 days, please help!

Hi, I applied for a tier 1 extension on the 22 Feb. HO attempted to take funds out of my bank account on 23rd Feb. This was rejected by my bank due as they had put a block on my account due to suspected fraudulent activity. I found out about this on Friday 26th through my bank, and assume that my ap...
