Re: Student visa rejected but applied for Visitor visa

There are different types of visitor visa. Whoever filled the application might accidentally chose wrong type. I am not sure if in the application itself it will distinguish between types of visitor visas. But Kaplan... Strange. If this is not the case, wait for a reply from HO.

Re: Full passport brp lost spain

Well, while you are there, try your luck with eurostar (although I would think it might work with EEA citizen's family members rather than UK citizen's family - but you never know) - a BRP copy might help. If it does not work and the option 1 is not suitable, than option 2.

It should be something else there. If the personal situation did not change for your mother since she received her last UK visa and the income from agricultural business was accepted for granted visa, point it out in the covering letter and submit it together with supporting documents to visa centre...

Re: BRP validity after paying for a BRP (RC) application

Play safe and get a new BRP, especially if you already paid for this. I would assume it was cancelled. You don't want to get stoped at the airport because your BRP is not valid.

Re: applying for visitor visa for a friend

There is no Friend visitor visa. So she has to apply for General visitor visa. It is better to rely on her own finances and surcumstances, although you can supply a letter explaining your friendship and stating that you give your concent for your friend to stay at your place during her visit to the ...

If you are asking about future fate of your wife's legal status in the UK - she probably will be unable to extend her spouse visa without your support after her current visa expires. Until than, nobody knows if HO actualy will cancell her visa or not - even if you will divorce her and send them the ...

Re: Spousal Visa Overstayers

In theory it should not impact your application from outside the UK. According to the Immigration rules, as far as I know, people without immigration status in the UK cannot marry a British citizen in the UK, so there is a requirement to leave and reentry. As you are living in the UK for such a long...

Re: Writing grounds for a tribunal appeal form

The more you explain the better for you. I would think that belief in necessity of having a legal representative is highly overstated. An average person who can read, write and use google can deal him/her – self with immigration authorities/tribunals. It might be tricky to read the letters from the ...

1. Yes 2. Nobody knows, but in general immigration rules become more tighter over years and not more relaxed in all categories 3. Home Office operates with facts. There are so many applicatants that I doubt they will waste their time trying to guess why you changed your visa type. As long as you sat...

Tier 1? But once you change the type of visa, you would need to go for another 5 years in the new visa category or live for 10 years lawfully in the UK combining all types of visa you had.

Again, read the guidance I mentioned above. There are requirements for documents to support your application. Although, EEA applications are more relaxed concerning the documents' availability. All you can do is to try your best and submit everything you have. Having both parents' names on the child...

Well, if this is the same post you wrote last year, the reason you did not have reply is in your question. It is not clear which advice you asking for. There is no definite question here. Reading between the lines, I can say the following: 1. Your penalty should not be a problem as long as you discl...

Re: Document and Original still not received

I would still give it a week and write to both addresses - one where you attended and the other one -the address on the form - as they are dealing with that sort of applications. If it was put on hold, there is no way to know who made a decision on your application and where. Just be on a safe side....
