I spoke to Immigration guy here and he told me that I can still apply for my mother given the fact that my visa will be due for renewal in early april. Just a general question? Does that mean a naturalized Irish citizen's spouse has to show her own financial means to get the citizenship? Don't think so usually. @9jeirean, She's on a stamp 4 (spouse of Irish citizen). [That is where it gets a bit trickier seeing as you are planning to leave the country. Go to DCU (Dublin city university Glasnevin) in the department of applied languages and they will certify it for you. there are some private firms who do translation jobs but i would recommend DCU as they have a whole deprtment of differnt languages of the world.
