I can smell it should be very much okay as long as you meeting 5 years when the decision is made on ILR application. So, if you apply ILR near to the expiry visa date, then It is highly unlikely that you will miss this. Instead 28 days rule, submit by post 10 days before the expiry date. Hope you h...

I just called UKVI and the lady on the phone replied

"You should be ok to apply anytime between 23 March 2015 (28 days from 20 April 2015) and 16 April 2015"

If she is to be trusted (as this was a phone conversation having no legal record i guess ) i should be ok ....

This is what I thought when I saw 16 april .... the first thought was "Since i need to apply within 28 days i should be ok !"

I checked, but i thought it should be ok since it is within 28 days ....

early extension is an option but it costs money, :(
more than 4k for 2 of us now :(

i will write to ukba to see what options do i have ....

do we need to prove any points for ILR ?

I thought once you complete 5 years as tier 1 g, you do not need to prove points any more as ILR is not a PBS.. ?

what do u mean exactly here ? Anything that you give to your wife be it dividend on salary, can not be counted as your income and hence you will not get points for that. UKBA will not award you points for wat amount u bring into you company account rather what you withdraw from you company account ....

No, not joint earnings. Points will be awarded for the total amount of salary and dividend that you withdraw from your company For ex if ur joint earnings are 60k And ur combined salary and dividend is 30k U will b awarded points for 30k not 60k U will need a letter from accountant explaining this A...
