Re: Long term visitor visa for parents

Re: Long term visitor visa for parents

In that case, based on the associated cost mentioned it appears that continuing to do the same would be more cost effective than applying for a long validity visit visa. Fees A Standard Visitor visa costs £87. The fee for a long-term visit visa depends on its length: 2 years - £330 5 years - £600 1...

Re: Long term visitor visa for parents

Suggest aim for a 2 year visitor visa first. They need to show a solid and good history to get a 5 or 10 year visa. How long have they stayed to visit on all their previous visit visas? they have been in uk 4 time before, that should count as solid history and they never have been in breach of any ...

Re: Date of application for Naturalisation.

They would normally give you the Royal mail or delivery reference number. I think it is only early days and a lot of people would have applied for nationality nearer to BREXIT. You can ring the NCS and hopefully they have your tracking number so you can check if it was received by the Home Office. ...

Unlike ILR, which expires if you do not return within two years, there is no limit on the amount of time you can spend outside the country as a British citizen. As a British citizen, you have the right of abode in the UK and the immigration officer can not question you on when you return. His duty ...

it may be safer to apply for a 2 year visa prior to 5, unless the difference in cost is not a consideration. do you say this to be on safer side or are there any cases which have suffered in similar scenarios ? and of-course Money is a concern but if chances are more towards success I may be intere...

Re: Family Visit Visa For Parents of ILR

Correct ! as for now, I am quite confident that once they have a long term visa, there will not be any such problem because we do not want/plan to break any of the visa conditions. the only concern right now is: whether will they get a long term visa or not ? just want to be sure that neither our mo...
