Here are my thoughts on this. When I put down my partner, unmarried or civil partner, the NCS person said I really didn't need to do this, unless I was married. I received a letter of approval for citizenship on 2nd of Feb. Since then, I have tried calling the Birmingham City council numerous, numerous, numerous times.
