Hi All, My father has got UK standard visitor visa for 5 years. I understand that maximum duration he can stay in UK is 6 months. I was wondering is it legal for him to visit UK for 6 months and then visit Ireland for next 3 months on UK visitor visa as Ireland does accept UK visa for Indian nationa...

I had a look at Netherlands website. https://ind.nl/en/Pages/Questions-and-answers-Brexit-with-a-deal.aspx I am a UK national coming to live in the Netherlands during the transition period. Do I fall under the Withdrawal Agreement? Yes, the Withdrawal Agreement applies to you and your family members...

Re: Refused Parents case on EU free movement

Hi Omiisl, Send me a PM , i think i may have a solution for you. I don't think it is necessary to send your parents back to Pakistan because then it will be tough from to come back. Re: Moving to EU for extended family

I don't see you getting hired in Austria with just English. Try but most IT employers want local language + English. If you are very senior, some may compromise in the quality of the local language, but zero is usually a no go. Thanks Zerubbabel, I got a call from an agent for English only speaking...

Thanks Zerubbabel, will chalk off Swiss. Is it the same for Austria? I heard usually Austria follows Swiss footsteps. Where did you hear that? Switzerland and Austria have very different systems in every aspect. One of my colleague who worked in Switzerland for 6 months. I took his advice with a gr...

Re: Moving to EU for extended family

Can i move to another country after i get the EEA card for me (and hopefully my parents get it too) or do I have to stick to same country after brexit as that card will be valid for only one country. The EEA Residence documentation is valid only in the country it is issued for. You may be able to m...

Re: Moving to EU for extended family

A video of how Germany's universal health-care system works (the intended audience is American and therefore primarily focuses on contrasting the German and American systems, but it should give you a broad idea). There is a general expectation in most Western countries that healthcare is/should be ...

Re: Moving to EU for extended family

Thank you for the video. Even if I was insured under the German system for a while, it never fully understood all its ramifications. But mainly there is a 2-tier system: public and private. When people are young, the private is better. When they get old, the public system is cheaper. What German au...

Re: Moving to EU for extended family

One more quick query. If I move to EU country before 31st Dec 2020 then EU rules will apply to me and my parents or different rules? The reason I am asking is that I am genuinely interested in moving to EU and can definitely legally try to bring my family there.

Re: Moving to EU for extended family

Thanks for your reply mate. I know old parents are considered a liability by most govts. The reason i am asking for a "generous" country is because i read on some discussion forum that Spain is quite difficult and try to obstruct as much as possible. What is JR? or other routes? As moving ...
