Re: Employer absence letter - query

Thanks Anoops1984.
Did you mean that no need to mention specific dates of absence in the letter ? Can I get just the letter with number of annual leaves and there is no unpaid holidays in 5 years ?
Thanks.

Re: Tier 2 ICT - ILR

Hi geriatrix,

Thanks for pointing to the FAQs. It is very useful.

I got to know that the employer letter is mandatory for Tier 2 migrants.

I observed that the minimum salary 35K limit is for Tier 2 general. It is not applicable to Tier 2 ICT. Can you please confirm ?

Thanks

They are saying we cannot process child application only without mother's application and they may get questions about care of the child. Suggesting to apply as dependent on mother's visa.

Re: Tier 2ICT dependent child-mother Tier2 general

Hi Sushdmehta, I should have used the word "outcome of review of Tier2 visa" instead of "proposed rule change" Apologies. I don't have the intention to spread rumors as many are expecting the outcome. I am a great admirer of your advice in this forum. Btw, do you have any comment...

Re: Tier 2ICT dependent child-mother Tier2 general

Thanks Vinny for pointing out the guidance point. I informed my company and waiting for their reply.

I am worried about the proposed rule change for right to work for Tier 2 dependents.

So hesitating to go as a PBS dependent.

It's really outrageous to pay surcharge upfront for entire visa period during visa application.

What happens when somebody decides to leave UK before his visa duration. All the money lost ?
